Industrial

Nine unit substation transformers, 12.47 kV to 4.16 kV, Irving TX

Nine liquid-filled unit substation transformers are offered as a take-all lot in Irving, Texas, with 12.47 kV primary and 4.16 kV secondary voltage. The seven new 2024 Square D / Schneider Electric units comprise five 1,500 kVA aluminum-wound transformers and two 2,000 kVA copper-wound transformers. New condition and never-energized, never-commissioned status are seller-reported. The remaining two units are 3,750 kVA OEM-refurbished transformers with aluminum windings and 12,470 to 4,160Y/2,400 V nameplate configuration. The seller reports these were set in place but never energized. Request the refurbishment scope, OEM records and individual nameplates. Less-flammable biodegradable insulating fluid is seller-reported; confirm the exact fluid in each unit. These are 4.16 kV secondary units, not 480 V transformers. Match them to the site's medium-voltage design, protective equipment, grounding, frequency and connection requirements. Drawings, serial lists, nameplates, photos and available test records can be requested by qualified buyers. The six images from the supplier PDF are representative only, not verified unit-specific evidence; the branded placeholder is also retained. Request current photos tied to the actual offered units and serial numbers before purchase. Buyer-arranged heavy haul is required, and lowboy trailers are not included. Price and current availability are on request. Confirm inspection, loading, warranty and written sale terms before committing.

Generators

Caterpillar 3516E generators: 11 units, 2,600 kW standby each, South Africa

Eleven 2023 Caterpillar 3516E diesel generator sets are offered in South Africa. Each is rated 3,250 kVA / 2,600 kW standby at 400 V, three-phase, 50 Hz and 1,500 rpm. New, never-used condition and zero operating hours are seller-reported. Nine identical sets are reported in original factory packaging; two are containerized with enclosure work unfinished. Load-test reports and operation and maintenance manuals are available on request. The seller reports that an RPM change can support 60 Hz operation. Any conversion must be confirmed by a Cat dealer for the exact engine, alternator, controls, voltage, resulting power rating and cost before purchase. The offered specification remains 50 Hz. Standby power is not a continuous-duty rating. For U.S. destinations, confirm each engine's EPA certification label, engine family and eligibility for the intended use before arranging import. The supplier reports that these units are not certified for the U.S. market and are not CE-certified. Emergency versus non-emergency operation and site permitting require review for the specific installation. No U.S. certification or conversion approval is implied by the model name. The displayed supplier photographs show an actual open-skid unit and an actual nameplate as representative examples, not proof of the configuration, condition or serials of all eleven sets. Request unit-specific photos, serials, test records, included-equipment scope and a written quotation. Price and current availability are on request; any warranty or inspection terms must be stated in the quote.

Why Arch Point Recovery

The details make
the difference.

IT asset disposition is more than moving equipment. We help define the asset list, remarketing opportunity and proposed handoff so both sides know what needs to happen.

Start with the actual equipment

Model numbers, photos, reported condition and configuration form the basis of each listing. Missing details remain questions to resolve.

Make the scope explicit

Agree what is included, what needs inspection, who handles data-bearing devices, and how equipment will leave the site.

Plan the next handoff

Bring buyer requirements and seller constraints together, from quantities and pickup windows to supporting records.

How it works

A clear path from
first inquiry to handoff.

  1. Share the requirement

Send the lot reference, quantity, destination and timeline. Selling equipment? Start with an asset list and location.

  2. Confirm the details

Review the configuration, condition evidence, inspection options and written commercial terms for the actual equipment.

  3. Agree the handoff

Set responsibilities for payment, packaging, collection, freight and any data-handling work before release.
